Casey James is playing a trio of shows with Alan Jackson and says that one of the things that he loves about playing any concert is seeing people in the audience singing along. For Casey, it’s those moments of personal connection that really mean a lot to him — regardless of whether you happen to be singing the right words! Casey says: “I see people…I see people make mistakes when I’m watchin’, but I think maybe — you know, and I don’t mind…I make mistakes myself, you know what I mean, so I think it’s great that they’re singin’ along — but there’s also that added dimension of maybe they make a mistake because I am lookin’ at them, you know what I mean? So, it’s kinda like that pressure, but I don’t know. I love to see people singin’ along, even if you’re singin’ the wrong words, I don’t care. Sing as loud as you can. I want to see your mouth movin’ — that makes me happy because I know you’re gettin’ into it and you’re, you know, you’re interacting with me.”
