The wonderful Joanna Smith is out now with a gorgeous song called “We Can’t Be Friends,” and Joanna’s beautiful performance helps bring to life the fact that while many people are all too familiar with the feelings behind the lyrics, the question is often how long we experience them. Joanna tells us what its all about:  “The song is about the ‘grace period,’ I guess you could say, when a relationship ends, when you can’t be friends with somebody — ’cause you might be one of those people that takes a day, it might be one of those things that it’s 20 years down the road, and you still can’t be friends. It’s just the tough thing about a relationship, that chemistry that just makes it too heartbreaking sometimes to still have contact with somebody.”
