In the New York Daily News, an unnamed Jets defensive starter gave his view of why Tebow should not start as the Jets quarterback.

“He’s terrible,” the player said.

Rex Ryan said this was “a cowardly thing” to do.

Last week, Sporting News released its midseason player poll in which Tebow was voted the league’s most overrated player by a significant margin.

Matt Slauson who plays guard for the Jets said Mark Sanchez IS their best quarterback and, “It’s not even close, all the other quarterbacks know it. I have all the confidence in Mark. We really don’t have a choice.”
