Over the weekend, Jana Kramer was in Florida for a couple of scheduled shows with Alan Jackson – including WQYK’s own Santa Blast at the Amphitheater. Unfortunately however, Jana took at turn for the worst and ended up in a hospital in South Florida.

After spending the day fishing with boyfriend Brantley Gilbert in West Palm Beach, she Tweeted “My how the day has changed. I am now sick with 101 fever and getting ready for this show is a challenge.” Jana attempted to take the stage that night, but didn’t feel well enough to finish her set.

Jana Kramer Tweeted updates from her hospital bed. She was bummed out… instead of celebrating her birthday, she was hooked up to an IV!

Jana was released from the hospital on Sunday morning. Sadly, she still wasn’t feeling well enough to perform at WQYK’s Santa Blast at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater. She sent her regrets to fans in Tampa:
