How’s that for adding a feather in your chapeau? That’s right the Zac Brown Band will sing the National Anthem at this year’s BCS National Championship game on Monday (January 7) It’ll be Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish taking on the Crimson Tide of Alabama. The BCS game will be played in Miami, where four of the band’s seven members will travel to take the mic in the center of the jam-packed stadium. Thanks to their award-winning harmonies and experience singing before major sporting events, ZBB is a great choice to kick off the highly-anticipated bowl game with a patriotic tune. Last year the band sang before the MLB All-Star Game Home Run Derby and also opened for the NFC divisional playoff game between the Packers and Falcons. Following the 2013 BCS National Championship appearance, the group is hoping to take their live show to more fans overseas.
