A man went on a flight and wanted to bring his very valuable vintage guitar and even offered to buy a seat for the guitar. Delta declined his offer for the guitar to have its own seat and instead the guitar went beneath the plane with the rest of the luggage and the man said he had a bad feeling something happened to his guitar. When he got off the plane he found his guitar stuck between a service elevator and a loading dock rail making a crunching metal noise, which turned out to be his guitar.
The $10,000 guitar is trashed and was offered a $1000 check from Delta, which he turned down.
