He’s already a daddy, and now he’s going to be a husband. Lee Brice is marrying Sara Reeveley, his long-term sweetheart, whom he’s known for 14 years.

“We’re looking at April to get married,” revealed Brice to Country Countdown USA. “We’re ready, we’re excited! I’m taking a month off for my wedding. I didn’t want to have to get married in a couple-day thing. I wanted to be off for a week, do the wedding, then go for a honeymoon for ten days, and really take the time to get married and enjoy it.”

The wedding is only a few months away, but as of now, Brice doesn’t even know where the honeymoon will be.

“Actually, I haven’t quite got that nailed down yet,” he says. “I’m a last-minute kind of guy, but I promise you it’ll be fun. I think I’m gonna surprise her, but I’m hesitating because she’s a picky kind of person. Not that she’s gonna be picky, but I got to think because I want her to enjoy it. I want to take her someplace she’s never been, so that will be a different kind of vacation spot.”

Brice and Reeveley met in Myrtle Beach, and their story definitely sounds like a fairytale that came true.

“I was walking on North Myrtle Beach one night, when I was there on vacation,” said Brice to The Boot. I was around 18 years old, and it was just me and a few buddies, and we were looking for girls. It was raining and dark, so no one was on the beach, and then this girl walks by in this big ole sweatshirt, and you can’t tell if she’s attractive or not. Just as she walked by, the light hit her just right and I’m like, ‘She’s gorgeous.’ So I said to my buddies, ‘If she turns around, I’m going to go walk back to her.’ I looked back and the next thing I know, she’s turned around, so I went after her. We sat down on the beach and talked, then I went and got my guitar and played songs for her on beach.”

They were just two strangers that met by chance many years ago, and now their fairytale continues as they plan the next chapter of their lives.
