‘Lincoln’ Leads 2013 Oscar Nominations With 12 Nods

Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards were announced early this morning, with Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln leading the pack with 12 nods, including Best Picture. Director Ang Lee’s Life of Pi was second with 11 nominations.

The Oscar nominations were presented by Seth MacFarlane, who is hosting the ceremony this year, and actress Emma Stone.

In the Original Song category, no country artist was nominated this year, but list did include Adele’s ”Skyfall” and the song “Suddenly” from Les Misérables.
