Congratulations are in order for our friend and American Idol Alum Danny Gokey and his wife Leyicet Peralta as they welcomed thiir first child into the world together. Danny is now officially on diaper duty.  Daniel Emanuel Gokey was born Sunday night.  Gokey says: “Its Official, I’m a daddy!!!”  ”Leyicet and I are overjoyed to welcome the new member of our family.”  ”I’m ecstatic to be a first time dad and to have a new little buddy to hang out with.” Gokey and Peralta were married last year in an intimate ceremony in Florida attended by about one hundred guests. This is the second marriage for Gokey, whose first wife suffered form a heart condition and died during routine surgery a month before his American Idol audition.
