Every year in January and February huge modified pickup trucks called monster trucks thrill Tampa Bay with their freestyle stunts and races. These huge celebrities will be making free appearances where fans can get up close and personal with each truck and even take pictures with some of the biggest stars of Monster Jam.

  1. A monster truck engine burns up to 2.5 gallons of methanol per run which is approximately 250 feet.
  2. The average monster truck team will go through five engines in one year. Average cost per engine: $40,000.
  3. The average monster truck team will go through eight tires in one year.  Average cost: $2,600 each tire.
  4. A crew of eight works 18-20 hours for three days to construct a monster truck course.
