When it comes to making an album, Jerrod Niemann says that a lot of what he thinks about in the recording studio comes from being on tour, seeing the reactions from fans and working to not only make great music, but also remembering some of those smiling faces on tour and hoping that that they’ll love his new songs, too. Jerrod told Sony Music Nashville:  “

  • People come out, and you get to meet people, and you get to see who’s payin’ attention to your music. So whenever you do go in the studio, you know, you really do think of…you actually see their faces, kind of, some of ‘em, and you think, ‘Man, would they approve of that? Would they still think we’re cool?’ And so, that’s the greatest thing about the people that have followed our music. You know, gettin’ into it with the Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury album, they knew that that already sort of was weird and different, and I’m kind of weird and different, so that’s what you get. So with this album, it’s the same, but really I feel like the music is far above and beyond the first album. I mean…so proud of it.”
