A  new song has surfaced that shows that Mindy McCready’s talent was as great, as her life was tragic. The song,  I’ll See You Yesterday” is the final song that Mindy recorded and in my opinion it was her best.

The song was written by Courtney Dashe, who is an up and coming song writer in Nashville. Carrie Underwood had the song on hold for sometime but when she passed on recording it, Dashe a friend of Mindy’s,  gave it to her. It wasn’t until after both David and Mindy’s death did Dashe become aware that Mindy and David Wilson, her producer boyfriend, had recorded the song.

‘I’ll See You Yesterday’ tells the story of a woman afraid to look forward because she doesn’t like what she’s facing.
