You no doubt have been loving Carrie Underwood’s latest hit, “Two Black Cadillacs,” but you also love the song’s spooky music video.  But as much fun as fans have been having with it, Carrie says that writing the song offered her and her co-writers some dark fun, too, because as they created the story of the cheating guy who met his untimely end, they also started working around intriguing little plot twists — like how the wife and the mistress would first meet. Carrie recalls writing the song: “We wanted to say meeting for the first time at the dude’s funeral, so how do we get them to, like, off him without them meeting? And I’m, you know, let’s…the wife calls the girlfriend on his phone, and anyway, it was so much fun to write and just be in that room, and we didn’t really know what to expect or where we were headed or what we would end up with, but it’s just drama. It’s drama, and it’s dark, but it’s also, you have to listen to the whole thing. You’re sucked in, from the beginning, from the music, and it’s just, you know somethin’s gonna happen. And by the end of it, it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, he’s gone, and they don’t even care!’ And it’s good. It’s heavy!”
