Last week, Dave & Veronica had dinner with Sheryl Crow. She provided the opening line for Write A Song Wednesday, “There’s not enough red wine on the planet to…”

Our special guest band this morning was  Camille Dupree & Broken Fetters! Our listeners added lyrics onto Sheryl’s opening line… and boooy, were they ever interesting!! We love the creativity that the audience brings to the table. None of the lines really made too much sense to each each other, but Camille & the guys turned the hilarious words into a great, bluesy tune…  with a tribute to Marshall Tucker Band included!!

Check out Camille Dupree & Broken Fetters at an upcoming show:
March 23-24: Sarasota Folk Festival, Oscar Scherer State Park
April 4: The Bunker, Ybor City Tampa
April 13: Market on 7th – Battle of the Bands Round 2, Ybor City Tampa
April 18: Band Series at USF
April 21: The Orpheum, Ybor City Tampa

There’s not enough red wine on the planet to
make you look good to me
Babe, why can’t you see that you did this to me
Your butt implants are enough to intrigue
to backpedal me back to you
Now with that mold, it looks so much like Hook & Shmee
because the tequila is flowing & the lights are low
If only you’d spent that money on your face
We’d be ready to go with our drunken love show
