The Funshine Music Festival lineup was already pretty amazing. There’s something for everyone. For us country fans, Kix Brooks and Gary Allan will pack ‘em in on Sunday, May 5. But there are dozens of other great acts coming to the Florida State Fairgrounds over the 3 day festival. Rock acts headlining include REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, Styx, Train, The Wallflowers, Rolling Stones & Beatles tribute bands and the newest announced act: Phillip Phillips, last year’s winner on American Idol.

Phillips has a hit single out right now called “Home.” It had the highest debut ever for a single on the Billboard Digital songs chart. Over a quarter million have downloaded it.

It’s probably the biggest music festival Tampa’s ever seen with over 30 acts on 6 different stages. Plus your $25 ticket gets you unlimited rides for the whole day. There will be a 100 foot tall Ferris Wheel that lights up at night. Cool way to watch a concert with 6 friends, huh? They’ll also have the RC-48 rollercoaster. This thing is the largest and fastest movable coaster in the country.

Here are the full daily lineups:

May 3rd: Train, Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, Good Old War, Youngblood Hawke, Dead Confederate, Roadkill Ghost Choir and now adding American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips.

May 4th: REO Speedwagon, Styx, Ted Nugent, New Found Glory, Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), We The Kings, Bad Books (featuring members of Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine), Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band, The Weeks, Pitbull Toddler, Hell’s Bells (AC/DC Tribute), and Tallhart.

May 5th: Gary Allan, Kix Brooks, The Wallflowers, Josh Thompson, The Lone Bellow, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Sticky Fingers (Rolling Stones Tribute), and Yesterday (Beatles Tribute).
