Jason Aldean first tried out his acting chops on a feature film, now it’s a beer commercial. The country star’s first commercial for Coors Light has been released.
Coors has began airing a campaign where mountain climbers bring ICE COLD beers directly into the bar from the top of the Rocky Mountains avoiding avalanches in order to hand the beer to Jason to crack open before he climbs on stage.
Aldean has been in other TV spots – Mountain Drew in 2012 – but not speaking lines. This is his first spot where we actually hear his voice on camera.
When Aldean first linked the deal last year with Coors, he tweaked the lyric in the song “Take A Little Ride” on the “Night Train” album to refer to a “Rocky Top”, the nickname for Coors beer. Which makes sense that this commercial would have a mountain and snow theme to it.

The partnership with Aldean isn’t the first time Coors has teamed up with a country music act to promote its beer. Coors previously worked with Brooks & Dunn and Rascal Flatts.
Jason’s Night Train tour, which includes Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett as opening acts, will kick off on Feb. 21 in Bossier City, La. Jason will make a stop in Tampa on Friday, September 6.
If you make it back stage at any of Jason’s concerts, I am sure he will have a nice supply of Coors light for you to enjoy. His deal with Coors includes a well stocked tour refrigerator!
