The Band Perry Stages Human Chess Match In ‘DONE.’ Video

Where The Band Perry’s first single from Pioneer, “Better Dig Two,” showcased a blend of both new and old-school sounds (mandolin and banjo as well as guitars), the brother-sister trio’s second single “DONE.” is loud and proud all the way through.

“‘DONE.’ is a song that Reid and I wrote about a relationship where one person is giving all they have into it, and the other person is just taking it all in,” Neil told Radio.com.

In the ACM Award-nominated band’s new video for the song, they stage a human chess game where they’re the musical entertainment. With the white side dressed in Revolutionary War-era garb and the black side wearing outfits that look like the costumes on Game Of Thrones, it’s clear something evil’s a-brewing.

The two sides soon stop playing nice and start getting in each others faces, but like Kimberly sings, “I don’t believe in getting even but giving what you deserve.”

Oh, and don’t worry – Kimberly lets ‘em have it.
