For the last five-weeks in a row the guys on American Idol have been voted off while weaker male singer Lazaro Arbos – from Florida – is safe.

How did Lazaro get to be the last guy left on the show this year? I am sure his stuttering disability and his hot Cuban good looks help make him an attractive and sweet underdog for the mostly young female population that adores him and AI. Which I’m proud to be one of.

Could there be another factor helping Laz collect a large amount of votes? A website called votefortheworse.com believes they and his large fan base are helping the Cuban cutie get the votes needed to stay on the show.

VFTW state they were created in 2004 to help support voting on American Idol for the entertaining contestants who they guess that the producers would not like to see win.

The website claims responsibility for helping Taylor Hicks be voted the American Idol Champ in 2006 and Sanjaya Malakar making it to 7th place on season 6. To read their claims click HERE.

It’s obvious Taylor thought VFTW was funny and may have helped him win or he wouldn’t have have let this picture be taken in 2008. I just hope that sensitive Lazaro takes VFTW as well as Taylor Hicks has.

Personally, I want Lazaro to win too. I am sick of Idol stacking the deck for their choice which this year is most likely Angie Miller.

I admit Angie is better singer, but she bores me. Laz makes me – and possibly thousands of girls -swoon when they do close ups on his sweaty good looking face.

Who cares if he can’t sing as good as the others…he is a great role model and there is always auto-tune.

Go Lazaro!
