This morning, we were a little concerned about how odd our opening line for Write A Song Wednesday was. The opener came from up-and-coming Streamsound artist Austin Webb. His opening line was, “I fell out of a ketchup jar.” Well, the lines that followed from our listeners did follow the “odd” theme, but in a fun way! It was like a weird dream. By the way, the “Richard Calderoni” line is a reference to the gentleman who owns Tampa’s Green Iguana restaurants; he was arrested recently for disorderly conduct on an airplane. We felt the need to clear that up.
This Sunday, July 14th, Camille Dupree and Broken Fetters will celebrate their big CD Release party! It will take place at the Orpheum in Ybor City Tampa at 7pm. Click Here to order tickets in advance! As always, the band did an amazing job turning crazy lyrics into an amazing song! Check it out below!
I fell out of a ketchup jar
and I turned everything red
I was cruising to my mom’s
on my old moped
The trees in the air were made of spaghetti
It turned into a party & rained confetti
I’m as tore up as Richard Calderoni
For the love of God, let this song be done
