Willie Nelson is the consummate performer who has proved lasting success through nearly 6 decades.
From signing his first record deal at D Records In Houston in 1958, to touring the country countless times with family members, there has to be a billion stories and memories he could write and sing about.
Nelson is turning 80 years old this year and to celebrate he’s releasing an album of duets that promises to pack a punch with “A List” performers. “To All The Girls” will be released September 24th. Expect all of your favorites from Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, and Emmylou Harris. The album wouldn’t be complete without a track with Carrie Underwood.
This is part of the recipe that has gone into Willie’s long lasting success as an artist. He’s versatile and respects the different genres and approaches to music. As a fan of country music past and present, I cannot wait to get my hands on this one!
