There’s a bluegrass duo from the 1960s called The Osborne Brothers… but that’s NOT these guys! Actually, it seems there’s always some kind of confusion with their name. However, make no mistake about this pair: they’re definitely something else.
John and TJ Osborne stopped by our WQYK studios for a New Artist Spotlight performance. From the first note of their debut single on EMI Records, “Let’s Go There,” you can hear a definite bluesy sound; it’s almost like someone threw some Memphis and some backroads dirt on the track (love!).

During the performance, Dave McKay caught up with Brothers Osborne to talk about the name-confusion issue. Click below to hear the boys share what exactly some folks accidentally call them… and why one of them would choose to be a woman?!?! Plus, listen to “Let’s Go There!”
