Harry Connick Jr. the singer and actor, who has appeared on the Fox’s American Idol multiple times as a mentor and performer, has inked a deal to serve as a judge alongside Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez on the upcoming 13th season, according the The Hollywood Reporter.
Had the show not signed a third judge soon, production could have faced a delay.
According to Connick’s website he will be promoting his new album with a fall concert tour that will make a stop at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Tue, Nov. 5.
If the singer turned actor won’t busy enough promoting his new album with a concert tour and tapping American Idol; he will also add to his insane schedule a starring roll in the upcoming sequel to “Dolphin Tail”.
Filming on “Dolphin Tail 2 ” will begin sometime this fall at Clearwater’s Marine Aquarium, home of Winter the Dolphin.
When will this guy sleep?
Randy Jackson will be replacing Jimmy Lovine as the struggling talent show’s mentor.
The $100,000 question is can all the changes make American Idol the king on talent show rates once again?
What do you think?
