Gramatica Kickball Tourney To Benefit Wounded Warriors
Brothers Martin, Bill and Santiago Gramatica visited Dave & Veronica to share information on how their Family Foundation is helping our wounded veterans. The mission of the Gramatica Family Foundation is to provide mortgage free, energy efficient housing initiatives and development assistance to disabled veterans.
Being that the Gramatica brothers are all football kickers, a charity kickball tournament just makes sense! The inaugural Gramatica Family Foundation Kickball Tournament will take place on Saturday, October 26th, at Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa.
The Gramatica Family Foundation helps veterans, such as this morning’s guest, Army Corporal Charles Lemon. Charlie lost both of his legs during an attack while serving in Iraq. According to the foundation website, “Being bound to a wheelchair, Charlie would need a particular type of home to meet his needs. That’s when Charlie was introduced to Operation Finally Home and the Gramatica family. This amazing charity partnered with the Gramaticas and many other local businesses to build and award a custom adapted home for Charlie to start his new life back home in Tampa, FL.”
You can help support our wounded veterans by participating in the upcoming tourney! Put together a team, become a sponsor, or donate! CLICK HERE for full details!
