When Garth Brooks retired from country music to be a full time Dad, he vowed to his family and fans that one day he would return. Now almost a decade later it looks like he is set to live up to his promise.

The buzz around music row has been that Garth is planning a new album, tour and TV special for summer or fall of 2014. Garth’s camp hasn’t commented on this rumor… until now.

The country music legend recently sent a cryptic message to fans who signed up for a newsletter on his website stating:

“The sevens have aligned. It has begun…Thank you for believing…love, g”

What does he mean by the sevens have aligned?

In order to understand Garth’s announcement you need to know he has a “thing” about the number seven and that he has vowed to stay in retirement until all 3 daughters are out of high school.

Since Garth’s youngest daughter graduates in May of 2014 and 14 is the product of adding two sevens together, it’s safe to assume it’s time for him to come out of retirement!
