Millions of Americans spend up to 11 hours a day sitting at a desk at work. Studies show too much sitting is contributing to chronic diseases. Now there is a new option to get healthy at the office and avoid all that sitting time.
In an attempt to get healthier employees, some companies are investing in desks that are treadmill workstations. Workers instead of sitting for hours every day behind a desk – risking obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes – they can walk themselves to better health!
