It’s an age-old question: what would you do if you found a large sum of money and didn’t know who it belonged to? Well, one teen had to face, and answer, that question.
Thirteen year old Jack Sheehan from Sandwich, Massachusetts was walking his dog after Halloween and discovered a bag with $1,300 and a bank deposit slip in it. He and his mom immediately brought the cash to the local police who traced the money back to a local convenient store.
The store owner was so grateful, Sheehan received $100 and a whole bunch of candy for his honesty.
The reason he returned the found loot? His mother said honesty runs in the family.
