When we interviewed Tyler Farr (“Redneck Crazy”) a few weeks ago, he not only revealed his personal stalker-ish moments to us, but he also revealed that he was trained in classic opera singing!  The latter was the inspiration behind the opening line for Write A Song Wednesday: “I sing classical music while chewing tobacco.”

Brian Sutherland, along with Adrienne Kneebone, Zachary Rogers and Jason Baker, came in to perform the final product. We had NO IDEA how the band would turn these lyrics into a song… They not only knocked it out of the park, but this may be one of the most uniquely amazing songs we’ve heard on a Wednesday.

Each Wednesday, we take an opening line from an artist or celebrity. Then, our listeners add lyrics line by line! Our guest band takes those lyrics and turns them into a song! Check out the lyrics, then click below to hear the song!

I sing classical music while chewing tobacco
I sing the blues while smoking my cigar
With my seeing eye dog sitting by my side
I sing polka & jazz while washing my car
Country is my favorite after several jars of shine
But, if you drink too much, You know you’ll go blind
I do the two-step on the way to the outhouse
When I drink that shine, I show my behind
