Austin, a 7-year-old boy autistic who is a huge fan of Blake Shelton, just got the Twitter invite of his life on Nov. 26 directly from The Voice star himself.

Monica Fioretti a National Wish Ambassador Spokesperson for Hero Network, the world’s largest social helping network, sent a tweet to Shelton about the boy. She included a link to the Hero Network and a post that Austin’s mother wrote about the boy’s love for Shelton and his music.

Here’s what Austin’s mother wrote on the Hero network.

“My seven year old son had heart surgery to repair a Coarctation of his aorta at the tender age of three weeks old. He spent the first month of his life in the PIC-U until it was determined that he needed surgery. He was intubated immediately after delivery, transported to another hospital and had a respirator breathing for him for the 1st three days of his life Austin was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3.  I was told that he would never speak. He is verbal, in public school and continues to defy the odds. He LOVES Blake Shelton… The CD in my car is just about worn out due to him playing his latest album. Austin knows every song title and each number it is on the disc. Please consider helping my 7 year old son, my hero.”

That is sweet of Blake! He really is a Hero!

I will keep you posted on Austin and this amazing offer from Blake.
