Garth Brooks Names Foundation After His Departed Friend

It was at Charlie Daniel’s “Christmas For Kids” Concert that Garth Brooks got up and made a video presentation naming the event after a friend of his who passed away earlier this year. Brooks said that for him the concert was always about his longtime bus driver, Jim Payne. Jim and his wife Carla were big believers in “Christmas For Kids” and the event will now be called The Jim and Carla Payne Foundation For Christmas For Kids.” Garth also said “we are gonna make sure this thing lives forever and that the true meaning of Christmas is to make sure that every kid has enough. Big hats off for Charlie Daniels. I cant thank you enough for what you do for the kids.” Justin Moore, Rodney Atkins, and Sawyer brown also attended the concert.
