HOLY MOLIE! LeAnn Rimes new animated music video ‘Gasoline And Matches‘ was shot using the free Vine app and a couple of iPhones. The amazing animation details of the video blew my mind so much that I briefly forgot to listen to the song.

The song ‘Gasoline And Matches’ is a uptempo bluesy rocker duet with Rob Thomas that features Jeff Beck (Yea, THAT Jeff Beck) on guitar.

Both Rimes and Thomas turn in powerful vocal performances on this song. Even Jeff Beck’s guitar does some major wailing and rocking on this song.

Despite all these stunning performances the real stars of this video are the animated characters Myrtle Matches and Gasoline Gus. You just can’t keep your eyes off what they are doing in this amazing stop-motion video.

Stop-motion video has been around for a long time but only with the new Vine App has the technology become cheap and easy to use.

“Gasoline And Matches’ from her ‘Spitfire’ album is availible now for downloads aon iTunes.
