After a successful opening-night performance by Luke Bryan on his 2014 That’s My Kind of Night Tour in Columbus, Ohio last night (Jan. 16), four crew members suffered injuries when a portion of the stage collapsed during the tear-down process. The show took place at the Schottenstein Center, located on the campus of Ohio State University.

According to local news outlet NBC4i.com, a forklift may have caused the collapse when it struck the rear of the stage. Luckily, the report also notes that injuries to each of the four workers are minor.

Because of the accident, Bryan cancelled his show tonight (Jan. 17) in Lexington, Kentucky. The show has now been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 21.

A message posted today on Bryan’s website notes that the show was over when the damage occurred and “no fans were in the building.” The message also states that all “necessary repairs to the production elements” will be made so the tour can move forward. Currently, the next stop on Bryan’s tour is Saturday, Jan. 18 in Knoxville, Tenn.

As for the show itself, the opening night of what is among 2014’s biggest and most-anticipated country concert tours, it appears to have gone off as planned, with Bryan wowing fans as covering hits from throughout his career.

“Bryan masterfully segued between at least six years of music, with nearly every number being a crowd pleaser,” wrote a reviewer in Ohio State University newspaper The Lantern. “He nailed older releases ‘Someone Else Calling You Baby,’ ‘Drunk on You’ and ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’ while giving the audience a taste of the new with ‘Play it Again,’ which he announced will be his next single from his Crash My Party album.”

“The only flaw in Bryan’s performance,” the reviewer noted, “was a terrible cover of Macklemore’s ‘Can’t Hold Us,’ where he fumbled over the rap a bit, but I still give him props for trying. It just proved that country music is where Bryan’s soul lives.”
