USA’s Two-Man Bobsled Team Takes the Bronze
Ending a 62-year drought, Steven Holcomb and Steven Langton won the bronze medal in the 2-man bobsled competition in the Olympics in Sochi.
Holcomb strained his leg the night before the competition when he was pushng off in the second heat. He decided to push through and work through the pain. He used acupuncture and electrical stimulus to help heal his leg.
The pair had a fast enough time to take 3rd place, but they ended up just nine-hundredths of a second faster than the fourth-place Canadian sled.
