Eric Church’s “The Outsiders” is his best album launch to date. But when figuring in financial stats or chart numbers, the singer doesn’t quite use those things to evaluate his own definition of success. Church told Taste Of Country, that he “doesn’t judge an album by weather it sold more than the last one, or if it had more number one’s than the last one.” Church admitted “That’s not the way I view success, that’s the commercial side. I view success creatively by asking if it went somewhere the one before it didn’t go.” “The Outsiders” is now in the number one spot on the U.S. pop charts having sold over 288,000 copies in it’s first week in the U.S.
