Brandy Clark’s  “Get High” is one of those country songs that critics praise – but radio never plays. It’s easy to understand why conservative country radio steers away from this song…but should they? Is it too shocking for country radio or is marijuana use just today’s reality?

Brandy Clark  - known more for her song writing than singing – is one of the pens behind such edgy number one’s as The Band Perrys “Better Dig Two” and Miranda Lamberts “Mama’s Broken Heart”.

In 2013 I picked Clark as one of the 4 Female Country Artists To Watch In 2014.  Personally, I love all her music and its female perspective. I don’t get why it’s not on the radio, but that’s me.

Now I want to know how you feel about this song. Listen, decide, then take the poll.
