Jerrod Nieman’s Bad-Ass Song “Donkey” [LYRIC VIDEO]
“Donkey” – A track off of Jerrod Nieman‘s “High Noon“ album – gets my vote for the most bad-ass bro-country song in the first part of 2014. It’s not bad-ass just because of the crazy good club inspired beat, it’s the clever lyrics that makes the tune a winner for me.
Another winning factor for me on this song, not since Vince Gill rode a lawn mower to a bar in the video “On More Last Chance” has there been such a vivid picture of the lengths rednecks will go to get to a bar.
I don’t deny it’s possibly the silliest country song ever written, but its also so catchy and dance worthy that you just can’t help liking…or at least I can’t.
I like to personally thank Franklin, Tennessee singer-songwriter David Tolliver for writing this catchy song. Love the tune dude!
