Despite the possibility that ABC could cancel the TV seriesNashville the show will have two very impressive guest stars on May 7, First Lady Michelle Obama and Kellie Pickler.

The First Lady and Kellie Picker will appear as themselves on the episode titled “All or Nothing with Me”.  The May 7 episode will feature a charity concert at Fort Campbell organized by Rayna (played by actress Connie Britton) for the show’s character Luke Wheeler (played by actor Will Chase). Rayna organizes the concert after finding out Luke was injured in Afghanistan.

You read that right Nashville fans…Luke gets injured in Afghanistan. When did that happen? Mostly likely in the next two shows.

As you ponder why Luke was in Afghanistan, here’s a bit of Nashville trivia. Each episode of “Nashville” is named using Hank Williams Sr. song titles. “All or Nothing with Me” is the 21st episode of Nashville. Hank Sr. had 35 charted singles. This gives me hope ABC will renew Nashville after all there’s still song titles left. By the way,  a renew for a third season guarantees a fourth season which would give the writers time to figure out how to get Deacon and Rayna back together again.

Currently Nashville’s odds on being canceled, or renewed are 50/50.  Some rumblings have the odds closer to 70/30 in favorite of renewal.  If the ratings don’t increase in May the show will be canceled.

Come on Kellie Pickler fans work your magic!
