Pistol packing rebel Miranda Lambert says in high school she was actually a pom pom carrying goody-two-shoes.

According to Entertainment Weekly Lambert says she was a cheerleader who sang in church and was a straight down the middle East Texas Christian teen. When did the good girl go badass?  She said “…I started playing bars at 19 and was like, ‘Oh! There’s a world.”

The Texas country bars aren’t totally responsible for her pistol packing ways. Her father was in law enforcement so she was raised around guns. Lambert reportedly has a large gun collect, including pair of Colt .45s that were the models for her ‘wings and guns’ tattoo that is on her left arm.

The tat design by a Texas buddy, symbolizes who Miranda Lambert really is… a sweet goody-two-shoes girl from Texas who owns more guns and knifes than a hunting store.
