Moron Moment of the Day: Thief Busted By Facebook
A Minnesota man’s plan to rob a house was going well until he decided he needed to check his Facebook.
Nicholas Wig was in the process of stealing credit cards, cash, and a watch when he took time out to log on to Facebook on the homeowner’s computer.
Wig then left the house without logging off his profile, so when the homeowner, James Wood, returned he was able to identify the thief.
Wood also found clothes left behind by Wig and set up a meeting with Wig to give them back.
At that point, the police arrested Wood who faces 10 years and $20,000 in fines.
