A Popular Graceland Attraction Will Soon Be Gone
Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley, attracts tourists from around the world who want to see how the famous singer lived.
A couple of the most popular attractions, Elvis’s two planes, will soon not be a part of Graceland.
The Lisa Marie and Hound Dog II were what Elvis used to travel and have many luxurious amenities including a large bed, a stereo system, conference room and gold-plated bathroom fixtures.
Tourists are able to take a tour of the planes while they visit the singer’s famous home.
Many fans are upset because the current owner of the planes have been asked to remove them by April 26, 2015 so that hotels and other buildings can be built on the property where the planes sit.
There has been no exact date set as to when the planes will be removed.
