Weird Al Yankovic at Superbowl Halftime?
Even with his latest album, Mandatory Fun, selling 104,000 copies in a week, and shooting to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, it seems fans just can’t get enough of Weird Al Yankovic.
One specific fan, Ed Ball, wants to see Weird Al as the halftime act at next year’s Superbowl. Ball wants to see him so bad, he created a petition for fans to sign to try to make it happen. Ball even asked the White House to recommend the NFL bring in Yankovic as the headliner.
In only three days, the petition has over 7,300 signatures, but still no word on whether Weird Al will play at halftime or any other time at the next Superbowl.
