Brad Paisley Remembers Robin Williams: ‘It’s Surreal. I Don’t Understand’
By Annie Reuter
Robin Williams has had an impact on many lives, Brad Paisley being no exception.
Earlier this morning (Aug. 14), Paisley called into Chicago’s US 99.5 (a CBS Radio station) to discuss his memories of the comedian.
“It was really a weird 24 hours for me,” he told the station. “Ironically, right before we found out that Robin died I had tweeted Josh Groban. He and I are on Rising Star and we’re good buddies. We worked together with Robin the first time we worked together.”
Paisley said he tweeted a funny video of Groban doing an Irish jig and then crushing a beer can.
“The very next tweet was me saying, ‘We’ll miss you Robin,'” he continued. “It was so weird. I had all these things planned to tweet that night and was like, ‘I’m not doing anything else.’ I was just so bummed.”
Paisley is the headliner at a pool party being put on by CBS Radio’s KFRG at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Click here to enter the sweepstakes to win tickets to the show.
