Speculation has been circulating all year about Jason Aldean‘s next studio release. And today (Sept. 2) the Georgia singer announced that his new album would be titled Old Boots, New Dirt and hit stores Oct. 7.

“With this new album, it’s definitely the same old me,” Aldean said in a press statement. “But, I like to mix things up and try new sounds and go into territory I’ve never explored before, so I do a little bit of that too.
