Veronica

A Floridian since her toddler years, Veronica says the only thing she brought from her birthplace is the New Jersey attitude. Her radio career began with hosing mayonnaise off of listeners as a WQYK intern. During her beginning at the station, she did a little of everything; she recalls coming in one day to lick envelopes in the Promotions Department. The self-proclaimed musical late boomer is really into Adele’s Grammy award winning album, Miranda Lambert, and Eric Church. She also really enjoys pop music; it gets her excited. Growing up eating Cuban food, she enjoys the exotic side of cuisine: Mediterranean, Greek, sushi, and even gourmet pizza. Veronica is fond of the summer concert season; Kenny Chesney’s concert provided a laid back party mode. She volunteers for Meals and Wheels and has been doing so for the last nine years.. Due to her busy schedule her hobbies include decorating her home, spending time with family and friends. You can hear Veronica every weekday morning 5-10am with Dave and Cledus and weeknights 7p-12a.
