Jennifer Nettles has a new single out from her yet to be release solo album. Barbara Ann brings you not only the new song but also a video of Jennifer talking about why the song is considered a follow up to a Dolly Parton hit.
“I love what I do with Sugarland,” said Nettles after an intimate live set in Charlotte last night. “But I’ve been wanting to do this [solo] project for a long time, and [I] have been writing for it for three years.”
The Sugarland singer’s upcoming solo album includes will be “emotional and raw” and include a Bob Seger classic, plus a re-imagining of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”
