“I love soulful music and it just made sense to me to stretch a bit at this time and do something that fills my heart and allows me to explore a little bit,” she said of her upcoming album.
“While this is a bit of a departure for me song-wise, stylistically I approached these songs the way I always have, which is singing with as much soul and emotion as I possibly can.”
