While the Eli Young Band may not have hit exactly the number of locales noted in the title of their most recent album, 10,000 Towns, chances are they’re getting close.
One of the Best New Artist nominees at this year’s ACM Awards, Justin Moore has experimented a bit on his three studio albums but always maintained his deep love of traditional country music.
“We were just sharing our stories about meeting girls in the summer and that summer love that you had,” Shay said.
“Being told that you’ll never win anything and accepting that in the beginning and then winning Duo of the Year it’s like, ‘What? What just happened?!’ And then being nominated again, it’s just amazing,” Keifer Thompson said.
“I think it’s definitely time for those issues to be accepted in country music — I mean it’s 2013,” she said. “Regardless of your political beliefs, everybody should be able to love who they want to love and live how they want to live.”
